John was born during 1925 in Edinburgh.
Studied art at Dundee School of Art and Travelling Scholarship.
Taught Life Drawing and Painting at Camden Art Centre 1965 – 1989 and Camden School of Art 1989 – 2000. Individual and mixed exhibitions 1949 – 2020.
